How to sell my home online for free

So is that all I need to do? I posted my home for sale in the GLS on the site, and now it shows up in the search, which is cool.

That was immediate, and I was suprised that noone called bothering me either. I would like to know what else I can do to sell my home online as well as what has worked for others. I'm thinking about the yard sign because it looks much better than the plain jane red and white sign I got from walmart (I know, I am el-cheapo). I also need to get out and rake the yard now to take some good pictures I guess.

The other homes on my street get a lot of weekend traffic and I want to cause them to stop look and call on my house for sale.

Thanks guys for the site, I like it so far. Free is good for me anytime.

Craigslist is always a good source. Free to post and browse. Also apperence is key to quick selling. Im sure you watch all the HGTV programs that state that over and over. If you paint the walls a tope it smoothes out imperfections and is a nuturel color so potiental buyers arent shocked as they walk in the door. The yard is what  buyers first see. If your house is flat extend your landscaping outward and add some evergreen plants to your yard. Remember your home is not a home when your selling it its a model house. Clutter and dirt is a sure bet to send buyers the other way. Think back to when you bought the house or other homes you viewed. Were they clean? Cluttered? or Spacious? Inviting?

    Hope the advice helps,
